1. The rotation axis of the drum is not vertical to the longitudinal center line of the conveyor, which causes the conveyor belt to move from the tight side to the loose side, resulting in deviation. The position of the tight side bearing seat should be adjusted so that the transverse tension of the conveyor belt is equal and the deviation is eliminated. If the tail roller is a screw type tension roller, the reason for the tail deviation may also be due to the unequal tightening force of the screw rods on both sides of the tension device, resulting in the imbalance.
2. The axis of the drum is not horizontal, and the height difference of the bearings at both ends is another reason for the head or tail deviation. At this time, the axis of the roller can be leveled by adding and subtracting the appropriate gasket on the bearing blocks at both ends of the roller to eliminate the deviation of the conveyor belt.
3. The adhesion of materials on the surface of the roller is equivalent to increasing the local diameter of the roller. It is necessary to strengthen the cleaning of the empty section of the conveyor belt to reduce the adhesion of materials or the accumulation of dust on the conveyor belt.
